PresidentI ran cross country in high school, but stopped once I entered college. Fast forward to 2020, one week after the world shut down (thanks, global pandemic). The kids were driving me crazy and I decided that it was time to go out for a run. After that fateful day, I started running more regularly and rediscovered my love for the sport and the adventures it brings. Since then, my running has taken me from the 5K distance all the way to 100K. I am always up for an adventure, whether it's on the road, trail, a timed endurance race, or over crazy distances - it's all fun to me (especially the hills).
I love being part of WRM because it allows me to meet other ladies who share the same passion. I look forward to sharing more miles and conversations with this great community.

Vice PresidentCold, dark mornings are the worst. If left to my own devices, I’d happily stay under the covers—but that’s exactly why I run with accountability partners. Knowing someone is waiting for me, rain or shine, it’s what gets me out the door. That same motivation is what led me to join WRM years ago, back when it was called SWIFT, and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
I first discovered running in high school after getting cut from the school play. I turned rejection into re-direction and joined the one sport where no one was cut from the team -- cross country! What started as a backup plan quickly turned into a passion. I fell in love with the mix of challenge (aka Suicide hill), new found friends, and that unstoppable feeling after crossing the finish line.
Throughout every stage of my life, running has given me more than physical strength—it’s given me a healthy mindset and friendships. The early-morning miles, long runs filled with conversation, shared goals, have connected me to people who’ve shaped me into who I am today. Running has been my constant through change, stress, growth, and celebration.
For me, running isn’t just about pace or distance. It’s about community, accountability, and showing up—for yourself and for others, even on the cold, dark mornings.

SecretaryI ran a short period of time during grad school but haven’t ran much since. I re-started running when I saw Teri’s N25K (None to 5K) program (hosted by WRM) on Facebook a couple years ago. I was very excited to join. It turned out to be an excellent program and that’s when I officially joined Women Run Monco group. The first steps are always the hardest. I still remember those cold, early morning runs, but those consistent practices and accountability are often the great motivation. I especially enjoy the conversations during the run. It turns solitary miles into social rituals that motivate and encourage. I also find joys in small milestones. Sometimes, just showing up makes a difference.

SecretaryI started running on a dare. My sister-in-law dared me to run for Autism Cares in honor of my son. After that first 5K I was hooked! Running gave me a way to relieve stress and meet new people. I have met the most amazing strong women in this community. I can't imagine weekend plans that don't include a run!

At LargeI ran winter track in high school, but then focused on softball. Played 4 years of softball in college and ran throughout the years, but nothing like I'm doing now. Ran a little after having my daughter, stopped, and then started back up when a co-worker asked me to do the Rocky Run with her. The rest is history, but the miles have racked up since being diagnosed with Celiac Disease in March 2021 after my daughter had signs of celiac, even though she tested negative at that time.
I've run 5ks, 8ks, 19ks, 15ks, half-marathons, the Philadelphia Marathon and recently completed my 3rd Dopey Challenge in 2026.
